FIVE RACES. FIVE WINS FROM POLE.
Can anyone break the pattern in the final race? Every Dutch Grand Prix since Formula 1 returned to Zandvoort has been won from pole position.
Since Formula 1 returned to Zandvoort in 2021, every Dutch Grand Prix has been won by the driver who started from pole position.
THREE YEARS OF VERSTAPPEN CONTROL
Max Verstappen converted pole into victory in 2021, 2022 and 2023. His third win completed the streak despite a rain-affected race that included changing conditions, a red flag and a late restart.
McLAREN KEPT THE PATTERN ALIVE
Lando Norris continued the run in 2024. He lost the lead to Verstappen at the start but recovered to win by more than 20 seconds.
Oscar Piastri extended the pattern in 2025, taking pole, victory and fastest lap while leading every lap.
ONE FINAL CHANCE TO BREAK IT
The final Dutch Grand Prix now presents one last test. Another victory from pole would close Zandvoort’s modern Formula 1 era with six consecutive pole-to-win results.
