GAME RE-OPENS AHEAD OF THE MONACO GP QUALIFYING WEEKEND.
CANADIAN GP RACE WRAP. Next stop: Monaco GP.
He did it again. Four in a row. Standing between the greats.
  • Canada gave us the clearest picture yet of where this season is heading: Kimi Antonelli is not just winning races anymore — he is starting to look like the driver everyone has to measure themselves against.
  • Four straight Grand Prix wins. A bigger championship lead. And now a podium image that says everything: the 19-year-old standing between Hamilton and Verstappen, two names that defined the era before him.
  • But this one came with heartbreak on the other side of the Mercedes garage. George Russell had the pace, the pole, and a real fight with Kimi before his car gave up while leading. That was brutal to watch.
  • The battle between the two Mercedes drivers was exactly what this season needed — hard, tense, and personal — but the ending felt unfinished. George deserved to fight that one to the flag.
  • Lando Norris had a brilliant start for McLaren, jumping from P3 into the lead, but the tire strategy did not pay off. The early intermediate call put McLaren on the wrong side of the race, and what started with huge promise turned into a nightmare.
  • Hamilton finally gave Ferrari a proper Sunday moment, taking second and fighting Verstappen hard in the closing laps. That P2 mattered — not just for the points, but for belief inside that garage.
  • Verstappen’s third place was also important. It was his first Grand Prix podium of 2026, and the late fight with Hamilton showed Red Bull still has something to throw back, even if they are not controlling races like before.
  • Franco Colapinto deserves a real mention too. Another clean, strong race, sixth place for Alpine, and more proof that he is turning opportunity into results.
  • Leclerc brought Ferrari home fourth, Hadjar added another strong Red Bull finish in fifth, while Lawson, Gasly, Sainz, and Bearman rounded out the points.
  • Next stop is Monaco. And now the question is simple: can anyone stop this run before Kimi turns it into something historic?
He did it again. Four in a row. Standing between the greats.
  • Kimi Antonelli made it four straight Grand Prix wins in Canada, and this one felt bigger than just another Mercedes victory.

  • The image says it all: the 19-year-old standing between Hamilton and Verstappen, while the championship keeps moving in his direction.
  • George Russell had the pace and fought Kimi hard before his car stopped while leading. That was heartbreaking, because this battle deserved to go all the way.
  • Lando Norris had a great start for McLaren, jumping into the lead, but the tire strategy did not pay off and McLaren’s Sunday fell apart.
  • Hamilton took second for Ferrari, Verstappen grabbed his first podium of 2026, and the two gave us a proper late-race fight for P2 and P3.
  • Franco Colapinto delivered another excellent race for Alpine, finishing sixth and keeping his momentum alive.
  • Canada had everything: Mercedes tension, Ferrari belief, Red Bull finally back on the podium, McLaren frustration, and Kimi still on top.
  • Next stop is Monaco. Can anyone stop him there?

RACEWEEK PREDICTOR F1 FAQ

  • The RaceWeek Predictor is a free Formula 1 fantasy game. Participants predict key outcomes for every Grand Prix, including the top 5 finishers, the driver who secures pole position, and the driver who sets the fastest lap of the race and more. All predictions must be submitted prior to the start of the qualifying session.

  • Our 2026 season is structured into four main scoring opportunities. There are three regional stages: the Americas & Australia League, the European League, and the Asia League, which track performance during those specific grand prix segments. Additionally, every race score is combined for the season-long Final Global Leaderboard.

  • All RaceWeek prediction leagues are free to play and open to participants worldwide. Players do not need to reside in a specific region to join that region's league. However, participants are solely responsible for ensuring that fantasy sports and prediction games with real cash prizes are legal in their jurisdiction before playing.

  • Points are awarded for correctly predicting the podium, pole position, fastest lap and more. You can find the full breakdown of point values and official game rules in the Rules & Scoring section located towards the bottom of the Play Predictor page.
