JAPANESE GP RACE WRAP. Next stop: Miami GP.
Kimi just made Suzuka his own
  • Suzuka gave us another huge Antonelli moment. Kimi made it back-to-back wins, and this one felt even bigger.
  • The 19-year-old didn’t have a clean cruise to the front either. He dropped back early, stayed calm, and then flipped the race back in his favor when the Safety Car timing finally opened the door.
  • That Safety Car came after Oliver Bearman’s heavy crash, and it changed everything. Antonelli took the chance, pitted at the perfect moment, and never looked back.
  • Piastri gave McLaren something to finally build on with second place, while Leclerc grabbed third and kept Ferrari in the fight.
  • Russell was the big one left frustrated. Mercedes had the pace again, but the timing around the caution hurt him badly and cost him the championship lead.
  • That’s the headline now: Antonelli is the youngest championship leader Formula 1 has ever seen. Not just a fast rookie anymore — now he’s the guy everyone is chasing.
  • And with Bahrain and Saudi Arabia off the calendar, the next real stop is Miami. That gives the whole grid time to reset, regroup, and come after Mercedes.
  • Suzuka felt like a statement. The question now is simple: can anyone stop this Antonelli run before Miami?

The Rising Sun & The Sea of Red

Huge congrats to everyone who locked in for the Japanese GP. The Top 10 is looking a lot like a Ferrari convention right now — the Tifosi are clearly making their move.

But nobody should get too comfortable. This season is a marathon, not a sprint, and with multiple awards still up for grabs, everything is still wide open.

The Man to Beat

Right now, jb007 holds the P1 spot on the Final Leaderboard. He’s got the license to lead — but the chasing pack is not far behind.

RACEWEEK PREDICTOR F1 FAQ

  • The RaceWeek Predictor is a free Formula 1 fantasy game. Participants predict key outcomes for every Grand Prix, including the top 5 finishers, the driver who secures pole position, and the driver who sets the fastest lap of the race and more. All predictions must be submitted prior to the start of the qualifying session.

  • Our 2026 season is structured into four main scoring opportunities. There are three regional stages: the Americas & Australia League, the European League, and the Asia League, which track performance during those specific grand prix segments. Additionally, every race score is combined for the season-long Final Global Leaderboard.

  • All RaceWeek prediction leagues are free to play and open to participants worldwide. Players do not need to reside in a specific region to join that region's league. However, participants are solely responsible for ensuring that fantasy sports and prediction games with real cash prizes are legal in their jurisdiction before playing.

  • Points are awarded for correctly predicting the podium, pole position, fastest lap and more. You can find the full breakdown of point values and official game rules in the Rules & Scoring section located towards the bottom of the Play Predictor page.
