Lawson’s Singapore Haul Beats Six Teams Combined

Fifth in the Sprint and seventh in the Grand Prix delivered all ten of Racing Bulls’ Singapore points, extending its advantage over Alpine in the fight for fifth.

Liam Lawson’s Racing Bulls car viewed from above, with a graphic comparing his 10 Singapore weekend points against nine combined for Audi, Haas, Alpine, Williams, Aston Martin and Cadillac.

Liam Lawson left Singapore with more points than six entire teams combined. He scored ten across the Sprint and Grand Prix. Audi, Haas, Alpine, Williams, Aston Martin and Cadillac collected nine between them.

That comparison includes both drivers from each rival team. One driver outscored their combined return across the weekend’s two scoring opportunities.

Figures cover the Singapore Sprint and Grand Prix on October 10–11, 2026. Championship positions are recorded after the Grand Prix.

Where the ten points came from

Lawson finished fifth in Saturday’s Sprint, earning four points. Seventh in Sunday’s Grand Prix added six.

The six rival teams initially had the advantage. Oliver Bearman’s sixth place supplied three Sprint points for Haas, while Nico Hülkenberg’s seventh brought Audi two. Together, they led Lawson five points to four.

Sunday reversed that comparison. Lawson added six while Hülkenberg’s eighth place supplied the only four Grand Prix points scored by those six teams.

Liam Lawson: 10 points
Sprint: 4 · Grand Prix: 6

Audi: 6 points
Sprint: 2 · Grand Prix: 4

Haas: 3 points
Sprint: 3 · Grand Prix: 0

Alpine: 0 points
Sprint: 0 · Grand Prix: 0

Williams: 0 points
Sprint: 0 · Grand Prix: 0

Aston Martin: 0 points
Sprint: 0 · Grand Prix: 0

Cadillac: 0 points
Sprint: 0 · Grand Prix: 0

Six teams combined: 9 points
Sprint: 5 · Grand Prix: 4

Hülkenberg accounted for Audi’s entire six-point weekend. Bearman supplied all three of Haas’ points. Neither team’s other driver scored, and the remaining four teams left empty-handed.

Ten points that strengthened fifth

Lawson also supplied Racing Bulls’ entire Singapore return. Teammate Arvid Lindblad finished 13th in the Sprint and 15th in the Grand Prix.

Those ten points moved Racing Bulls from 90 to 100 in the constructors’ championship. Alpine remained on 68, so the gap between fifth and sixth grew from 22 points to 32.

Alpine missed both scoring cutoffs with Pierre Gasly, who finished ninth in the Sprint and 11th in the Grand Prix. Franco Colapinto retired from both.

For Racing Bulls, the weekend therefore had a direct championship benefit: it added ten points while its closest pursuer added none.

What the comparison tells us

These six teams occupy sixth through 11th in the constructors’ standings after Singapore. The comparison covers every team below Racing Bulls, rather than a selection drawn from different parts of the field.

It measures points collected, not whether Lawson was faster than all 12 rival cars. Retirements and race circumstances helped shape the totals.

The useful result for Racing Bulls is simpler: Lawson scored in both races, and that return widened the team’s cushion in fifth.
