FERRARI BRINGS SCHUMACHER’S SEVEN STARS BACK TO MONZA
Ferrari will honor Michael Schumacher at the 2026 Italian Grand Prix with special race suits for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, marking 30 years since Schumacher began his defining chapter with the Scuderia.
The one-off suits retain Ferrari’s traditional red while adding white stripes across the shoulders, arms and front. Seven stars on the upper back represent Schumacher’s seven World Championships, while his personal logo appears on the hip.
Schumacher joined Ferrari in 1996 and helped transform the team into Formula 1’s dominant force. He won five consecutive Drivers’ Championships from 2000 through 2004, recorded 72 victories for Ferrari and contributed to six consecutive Constructors’ titles between 1999 and 2004.
Monza provides the natural setting for the tribute. Schumacher shares the circuit’s Formula 1 record with five victories, and every one of those wins came with Ferrari. Three decades after his arrival, the details carried by Hamilton and Leclerc reconnect the current team with its most successful driver and era.
