310,000 weekend attendance, three-day tickets from €160 and trophies nearly a year in the making.
Formula 1 reported 310,000 spectators across the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix weekend, while published three-day ticket prices began at €160. The podium finishers and winning constructor also received four handcrafted Herend porcelain awards created during the company’s 200th anniversary year.
NEARLY A YEAR IN THE MAKING
Herend began designing the 2026 trophies after the previous Hungarian Grand Prix. The complete process—from design and forming through firing and hand painting—took nearly a year.
The winner’s trophy stands 530 millimetres tall, measures 245 millimetres wide and weighs three kilograms. Its decoration includes 18-karat gold. Platinum was used for second place instead of silver because it does not oxidize, while bronze identifies the third-place trophy.
The winning constructor received an openwork porcelain plate measuring 520 millimetres across and weighing four kilograms. Every award is unique, with decoration inspired by Hungarian folk art.
