MAX’S DOUBLE RECORD SHOT
A victory in Zandvoort’s final Dutch Grand Prix would tie Jim Clark’s four wins and give Max Verstappen a joint-record sixth podium.

Since Formula 1 returned to Zandvoort in 2021, Verstappen has started five home Grands Prix and finished on the podium every time. He won three consecutive races from 2021 through 2023 before finishing second to Lando Norris in 2024 and Oscar Piastri in 2025.
ONE PODIUM FROM LAUDA AND CLARK
Jim Clark and Niki Lauda share the Dutch Grand Prix record with six podium finishes each. Verstappen currently has five, meaning any top-three finish in 2026 would put him alongside both former World Champions.
ONE WIN FROM CLARK
Clark remains the most successful Dutch Grand Prix driver with four victories, recorded in 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1967.
Verstappen’s three wins currently place him level with Lauda and Jackie Stewart. Victory in 2026 would move him ahead of both and level with Clark at the top of the Dutch Grand Prix record book.
It would also be Verstappen’s first Grand Prix victory of the 2026 season—and would close Zandvoort’s modern Formula 1 era with its home driver sharing both the circuit’s wins and podium records.
