George Russell converted pole into victory, beating Charles Leclerc by 1.360 seconds as Lando Norris completed the podium.

Russell led all 24 laps and completed the Sprint in 30:25.318, giving Mercedes victory in Zandvoort’s first Formula 1 Sprint.

LECLERC TAKES SECOND

Leclerc started third and passed Norris for second at Turn 1 on Lap 18. He closed the gap to Russell during the final laps but finished 1.360 seconds behind.

Norris held third, finishing 0.385 seconds ahead of Kimi Antonelli. Oscar Piastri completed the top five.

THREE CONSTRUCTORS ON THE PODIUM

Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren shared the podium, while Antonelli’s fourth place gave Mercedes two drivers inside the top four.

ZANDVOORT’S ONLY SPRINT

This was the first Sprint held at Zandvoort. With the Dutch Grand Prix scheduled to leave the Formula 1 calendar after 2026, it was also the circuit’s final Sprint under the current agreement.
