MAX STARTS 101ST. THE CHALLENGE: PASS EVERYONE.

Max Verstappen will start last in a 101-kart race at Silverstone on September 16, with one objective: pass the 100 competitors ahead of him. The one-off event, Max vs 100, will use a purpose-built kart circuit designed to place the entire field on track at once.

Max Verstappen drives a kart in a graphic announcing that he will start last against 100 rivals at Silverstone in the Max vs 100 event.

The grid will bring together Red Bull athletes, gaming talent, creators, media personalities and fans from around the world. Verstappen will also be able to communicate directly with the other competitors during the race, adding another layer to a challenge built around traffic, timing and overtaking.

The event returns Verstappen to the discipline where he developed the fundamentals of starts, defending and passing. Mo Gilligan will lead the live broadcast, produced by Red Bull Media House with Whisper, with the event streaming through ESPN on Disney+; availability will vary by market.
